This is the tale of a little girl who loved all things fashion. She wore silk gowns to bed cinched with a belt. She hid behind the sofa and popped out at the exact moment Vanna White was announced, eyes wide in admiration of her latest gown. When confronted with the question, "What do you want to do with your life?" she immediately replied, "Shop!" So, she studied Fashion Merchandising and Marketing and went on to become a Home Furnishings Buyer for over 5 years.
She had first a son, then a daughter- the most precious little pixies. The pull to stay home with them was too powerful to deny, so she left her job of travel and shopping. These were treasured times, but something was missing. Creativity! So she started blogging; Little Mr Moo was born. What she discovered was a fascinating world of lifestyle/craft/foodie/DIY bloggers, and she knew she belonged there. She had found her new home. Through study and practice she mastered the art of social media, styling, photography, and writing.
Three years ago she jumped back into the job market to become the Retail Social Media Manager and Copywriter for the Art Institute of Chicago Museum Shop. Her work has been featured on Design Sponge, Apartment Therapy and on blogs around the globe. She has interviewed artists, photographers, and industry heavy hitters like Colossal's Christopher Jobson and Design Milk's Jaime Derringer. Someday she hopes to interview Vanna White...
